On the Elf Day of Christmas

Tenth.. eleventh.. twelfth! Elf! As the song 12 Days of Christmas tells us about the different gifts our true loves bring, an elf helps Santa pack and deliver his presents to children all over the world. It’s no wonder he fits into our chimneys just in time for the most awaited event every year. Without his super secret elves, Santa would go crazy during Christmas!

I was an assistant elf for a day - hosting a birthday party in the afternoon and a family get together at night. Though it was quite hot, I wore layers of clothing to complete this unique look. I recycled the inner red dress with white fur shoulder accents from my Jazz recital a few years back. It matched perfectly with the green coat which my mom had made anyway! I believe the hat I found lying inside my closet did a good job complementing the stockings my aunt got me from Canada. Meanwhile, these ankle boots from Naturalizer allowed me to walk in both comfort and style. It was a busy busy day but I’m glad it was challenging.

I had no time to do nail art so I just painted all my tips red! Maybe I can share some original nail art designs on my next blog posts J the cuffed sleeves on my coat reminded me so much of snow. I couldn’t help but feel the Christmas vibes coming in!
