And The Kat Purred The Night Away

The Katy Cats meowed the entire night as Queen K purred us all with her ultra-magical music. I arrived at the Philippine Arena expecting a show but was presented with sights I never thought I'd see. From the sounds to the costumes to the choreography, everything was purrfect! I've always adored Katy Perry, but last night proved that she was more than an extraterrestrial gal :)

The concert began at around 8pm, with The Dolls hyping everyone to dance to the beat of the music. Once Mia Moretti plugged her headphones in, what came out of the speakers was pure art. Her song mixes were specially made to relate to all ages (I could see some dad's shaking and wiggling to her creations). And Margot? She was a favorite. With her violin in hand, she played with ecstacy. After their performance, we knew we were in for something big.

We couldn't wait any longer. Each Katy Cat was stoked to see his or her idol. A few minutes after The Dolls left the stage, Roar started playing and Katy Perry rose from under the stage. We, the audience, roared as loud as we could to welcome Queen K in the arena. Words will not give justice to her performance, so take a look at a few photos that I captured during those spectacular moments!

Another thing that makes Katy stand out is her boldness. Who else has the confidence to wear lit up clothing?

My favorite shot of the night! Katy Perry asked all of us to turn on the light on our phones during her "Unconditionally" performance. Breathtaking, isn't it?

And of course, she ended it with flying colors. "Firework played" as everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, sang their hearts out.
