What's in Balesin?

The Philippines is an archipelago - meaning its composed of several islands. It's one of the features that sets the country apart from others. If you were a tourist, which island would you visit? Because of the countless options that you'll be faced with, it might be a struggle to choose! But if it helps, I'll tell you about one of my favorite islands, Balesin.

It was my first time to explore Balesin's wonders with my family last May 2 to 5. I already had a good feeling about what was in store for me upon entering the private jet (which seated around 30 people more or less). The staff warmly welcomed us to the island and even gave everyone a complimentary drink to settle down. You know those typical refreshments with cute umbrellas on top? Yup, those are my favorite.

My family and I stayed at the Saint Tropez village for our first two nights and transferred to the Balesin village for our last. Both villas we checked in allowed us to experience new surroundings while feeling the comfort of home. During the day, we would go around to see what made each village special. There were seven different villages which were inspired by the seven best beach resorts in the world! It was so easy to get around since there were vans, jeepneys and golf carts which were available at any time. All I had to do was call!

I had such a good time in Balesin. It was a relaxing vacation to calm my mind from all the work. With over 55 leisure activities to choose from, there was never a dull moment. I could keep talking about my island adventure but I think you should go ahead and discover the beauty of Balesin yourself. Enjoy these photos!

Of course I did my nails for this trip! I didn't realize that the colors I used matched the theme of Saint Tropez until I got there :)

Bali was stunning. The Nusa Dua was the perfect place to watch the sun go down while cuddling with someone special :) This village was especially memorable for me since I met a lovely couple who was doing their prenup photoshoot. I even took (and directed) some of their photos because they were so pleasant! I wish you all the best, Mr. Jaspher and Ms. Jen <3

This photo was taken outside the Mykonos restaurant. The Greek food they served was absolutely scrumptious!

My sister and I enjoying Bali together <3

I even met a friendly horse during the trip! Yes, that's me trying to understand what he's saying :)
