Longing for Longchamp

When you think of France, what comes to your mind? The country is famous for its sky high Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum which houses Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, and the Champs-Élysées road laid out with its garden. It's as if France does not have enough to boast about when Longchamp begins a legacy. For 65 years and still counting, Longchamp has brought joy to countless bagaholics all over the world. And guess what? The brand's first stand-alone boutique is now open in Makati! 

On the evening of May 12, 2015, the media, well-known personalities and other elite guests celebrated the launch of the Longchamp boutique in Greenbelt 5. Issa Litton hosted the event and gave us a little background about the label's history. After her introduction, Mr. Anton Huang and Longchamp CEO of Asia Pacific François-Xavier Severin got on stage to say a few words to formally start the event. Soon after, a fashion show commenced, displaying Longchamp's Le Pliage collection. The models strode past the stage and between the crowd to make sure that everyone had a good look at the bags they were holding. Once the fashion show was over, I took some photos of the store and observed a few bags. I was pleasantly surprised to see a wide range of materials, colors, and styles. Because of this, I am positive that no matter who you are or what you like, you will find the perfect Longchamp bag that tickles your fancy! You can even have your bag personalized in France to make it extra special. Make sure to head on to the boutique as soon as you find time! :)

I was really drawn to the black and neon color combination on the Le Pliage Héritage Néon bag.

I have been meaning to take a photo with Mr. Anton Huang since the opening of Debenhams in Capitol Commons. I finally got it! :)
