Longchamp Fall 2017 Collection

Confident. Independent. Beautiful.

These three words go along best with being a woman. Gone are the days when women were deprived from their rights to education, careers and even freedom. Gone too are the days when prejudice and injustice against the gift of a talented female was normal. 

Today, strong and intelligent women are not only accepted, but celebrated. That is what the Longchamp Fall 2017 collection is all about. With the complementing bright and neutral colors of their newest bags, the collection is dedicated to highlighting the very essence of being a woman.

The official press release of the sophisticated line happened in Black Bird, Makati City on the afternoon of July 19, 2017. The place was set in the 1970s, with the center resembling a typical Parisian apartment. Guests were served with their choice of drinks, along with delicious hors d'oeuvres, while they were lead around Longchamp's newest pieces. 

Here are some of the key pieces that represent the brand's stylish new look:

Stealing the limelight is the Mademoiselle hobo bag in Cognac (left) and Black (right). Notice the detail on the keychain of the bag - this is the first time Longchamp has done this. The red rubber stamp attached to the keychain definitely adds a more vintage touch to the masterpiece.

On the left sits the Pénélope Arty tote bag in Red. Longchamp made use of three different types of leather for the symmetrical design of triangles. On the right, we have the Le Pliage Cuir Étoiles top handle bag. This is the brand's modern take on the classic Le Pliage.

I personally love the Le Pliage Cuir backpack in brown (lower left) because small backpacks are always so handy. It's a good thing they come in all colors!

You can't go wrong with the Madeleine top handle bag in either amethyst (front) or black (back). Aside from its gorgeous style, it has a special front pocket to fit your mobile phone for easy access.

The fun and funky way to wear Longchamp is with the Effrontée cross-body bag in pilot (left) and amethyst (right).

Again, we have the Le Pliage Cuir backpack in the fiercest shade of red. This one clearly spells out bold and sophisticated.
